Instructions to patients

 

 

• Wash your hands throroughly

• Clean and dry the skin

• Remove MediPatch from backing sheet and apply on acne or wound.

• Replace daily, or when MediPatch turns white in colour, indicating full absorption of secretion.

• If wearing make-up, apply MediPatch first.

• MediPatch may be left on during a bath or shower.

A pilot study on efficacy treatment of acne vulgaris using a new method: results of a randomized double-flinded trial with Acne Dressing.

The above study demonstrated that the use of hydrocolloid dressings for Acne resulted in a significant reduction of redness, oiliness, dark pigmentation and sebum levels at days 3,5 and 7 compared to skin tapes. Hydrocolloid dressings were shown to improve mild to moderate inflammatory acne vulgaris.
